Part 1: Entrepreneurship workshop at local high school

IMG_20141107_083203aThis past summer, I met with the principal at Carver HS of Engineering & Science and asked if they taught entrepreneurship classes. Based on my experience teaching high school students who are techy, they may already have their own business. But they probably lack the fundamentals of entrepreneurship. This is important especially for minority youth who aspire to be entertainers and athletes. For some, the influence comes from the underground economy in their communities.

The principal asked me to develop a pilot class designed for seniors to help them also think through their senior project. I met with the students last week and it went well. I am not sure yet how many classes I will do.
